PROJECT NOTICE

MANASSAS DRIVE SAFETY and SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS

As part of the City of Manassas Park’s $1.3M Virginia Highway Safety Improvement Program grant, on or about July 6, 2026, Imperio Construction is scheduled to begin crosswalk, curb ramp, gutter, sidewalk, signage, and other pedestrian improvements at numerous intersections of Manassas Drive. This work is expected to last until approximately May 2027.

Additionally, the City has contracted with Clarke Electrical Contractor, Inc. to install a new mast arm traffic signal at the intersection of Polk and Manassas Drive. This capital improvement will provide more visibility to vehicular traffic on Manassas Drive and alleviate issues related to line of sight and signal timing. This project will benefit all users of the City’s multi-modal network.   

The City realizes this is a disruption for our residents. Your patience, cooperation, and support are greatly appreciated.
