Due to necessary repairs and ongoing infrastructure improvements, the splash pad at Park Central Plaza will not operate for the Summer 2026 season.
We understand the splash pad is a popular downtown amenity for families, and we recognize this news may be disappointing. However, these repairs are required to fix significant operational issues to improve long-term reliability and performance for future summer seasons. The new construction of the splash pad is expected to begin later this year, with completion planned in time for the 2027 season. Additional timeline updates will be shared with the community as construction progresses.
To help provide additional opportunities for water recreation this summer, the City will offer several free admission opportunities at Signal Bay Waterpark, while capacity allows:
Free admission for Manassas Park residents on Opening Day on Friday, 5/22
Free public admission on Saturday, 6/20 after 3:30 p.m.
Free public admission during National Night Out on Tuesday, 8/4 beginning at 5 p.m.
We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding while these repairs are completed.
